VOLT
Battery energy storage

Support grid stability and earn 19% per year from battery energy storage

Volt builds battery storage only, with no solar or wind assets. Each site earns on three segments of the energy market at once, not tied to its own generation. The market is just forming: this is the moment to enter at the start.

An asset that serves the grid, not its own generation

Storage buys electricity when it is cheap and sells it when it is expensive, regardless of who produced it or how. This sets Volt apart from projects where storage is tied to a specific solar or wind plant: our asset does not depend on the weather or a single generation point.

The asset class is already proven by the market. The first storage cooperatives in Ukraine reached commercial operation in 2026 and confirmed the projected returns in practice. Volt follows the same model: a separate legal entity for each site and associate membership of the investor in the cooperative.

Current investment offer

Power Hub 2 is Volt's second site and the first open to investors. The first, Power Hub 1, is already under construction with our own funds.

Advantages

What lowers the risk and drives the return of every Volt site.

Superior returns at the start of the market

Demand for balancing capacity is growing faster than storage supply in Ukraine; early entry means a better price per MWh.

Market-linked revenue

Revenue is earned in hryvnia, while balancing capacity prices track the European energy market.

AlphaESS equipment with a 10-year warranty

Liquid-cooled containers with LFP batteries. Part of the equipment is already in Europe.

First site built with our own funds

Volt is building Power Hub 1 (0.9 MW / 1.9 MWh) with its own funds, launching in Q3 2027. We back the model with our own money.

Operated by D.Trading

We plan to hand site operation to market leader D.Trading: 24/7 monitoring, trading on DAM, IDM and BM, reporting. Their commercial offer is already received.

Transparent ownership

The investor becomes an associate member of the cooperative with a share in its assets, protected by the Law of Ukraine on Cooperation.

Volt project pipeline

We are already building the first site with our own funds and raising capital for Power Hub 2. Each investment site is a separate cooperative with its own fund.

How storage earns: three markets at once

One and the same site takes part in three segments of Ukraine's energy market within a single day. That is the source of the return, not a single "buy low, sell high" trade.

DAM
Day-ahead market

The core daily cycle: the site buys tomorrow's volume on a known hourly price schedule and sells it in peak demand hours. This is the basis of the charge/discharge schedule.

IDM
Intraday market

Targeted trades during the day when generation or demand forecasts shift. The site buys or sells volume closer to real time, hedging its day-ahead position.

BM
Balancing market

The site holds reserve capacity and responds to Ukrenergo's signal within seconds to minutes, keeping grid frequency at 50 Hz. The fastest and usually the highest-value segment per MW.

Equipment and operation

A market-leading contractor is selected for construction, and the Volt team has a background in installation. Equipment is an AlphaESS containerised solution, and we plan to hand operation to D.Trading.
